News-Shapewear Battle

Things seem to be heating up in the shapewear market. Heather Thompson, Founder of Yummie Tummie, is eager to trim the fat off her competition's bottom line.

According to BusinessWeek, her company recently filed a court complaint against Spanx for patent infringements and unfortunately for Spanx, this is not Heather's first rodeo.  In 2011 Yummie Tummie targeted Maidenform, a $600 million revenue company, and was rewarded $6.75 million  for breaching patent laws; not too shabby for a New York "housewife".

I am now six months pregnant and not able to squeeze into any of my old clothes. I recently purchased a few dresses from Colorfast. Their dresses are made with ultra soft materials that has plenty of give for a growing belly.

I am loving all the tone on tone looks this season. Since I am 6 months pregnant I often find myself  browsing my husband's side of the closet for clothing options.
